Vernon is an unseen character in the FX series Justified. Vernon is mentioned in the fifth season episode, "Wrong Roads". Vernon was the former drug partner of Rowena, who she helped smuggle heroin inside of prison. Elmont Swain's wife, Elena, overdosed and died on the heroin while inside. Elmont, in retaliation, burned Vernon alive in her house. Rowena recruits Boyd Crowder to murder Elmont to avenge Vernon's death.
