Season 3Edit

In "Slaughterhouse", Pete, Mitch, and their mother are camping out in the woods after a Christian rock concert. Their mother teasingly throws Pete's show off into the woods after he said she "hibernated" due to her heavy sleeping. Pete goes off to retrieve his shoe, only to head back to their tent to see Quarles holding Mitch and their mother at gunpoint. Pete is forced to be the getaway driver, while Sally has a gun to her back in case the two boys do not comply to Quarles's demands. Soon, Quarles forces her out of the van in the middle of nowhere, and holds Pete at gunpoint to drive off and leave her. She confides in the Marshals, telling Art Mullen everything about the conversation between Quarles and Theo Tonin: Quarles wanted to go back home to Michigan, but in order to do so, he needed $500,000.
