Blake Heron (January 11, 1982 – September 8, 2017) was an American actor who co-starred as Parker in the FX series Justified Season 3 episode "Measures".


Biography[]

Heron was born in Sherman Oaks, California. After his parents divorced, he moved with his mother to Atlanta, Georgia, then to New York, New York, and finally to Burbank, California, where he started his acting career.

At the age of 13 he made his film debut in the Disney film Tom and Huck, series Reality Check . When the series did not last, Blake starred in several television movies, including Trilogy of Terror II. Nick Freno: Licensed Teacher was his biggest role at the young age of 14. He played the flirtatious jock, Jordan. In 1997, he was recognized for his portrayal as Marty Preston in the Warner Bros. hit Shiloh.

After graduating from high school in 2000, Blake has avoided child roles and has been taking on more serious adult roles. For his role in Cheaters, he played a conspiring dark teen, then had the same type of role in Blast. After appearing in television hits such as Boston Public, Family Law and Guardian, he took on the role of Specialist Galen Bungum in We Were Soldiers. He also played in Dandelion.

Heron plays the guitar and is left-handed, and his mother's name is Liz.

On September 8, 2017, he died at his home in Los Angeles at the age of 35. He was found unresponsive by his girlfriend.
